Rays Use Late Rally to Win 13th Straight
The Princeton Rays handed the Boston (Rk+) Red Sox a loss at H.P. Hunnicutt Field. The final score was 6-5. Major production was provided by Pat Eteldrum for Princeton. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 4. He also added 1 walk. The winning streak has now reached 13 games for the Rays.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Princeton trailing 5-2, Eteldrum jumped on a cutter from 18-year old right-handed pitcher Salvador Lopez and hit a grand slam home run to left. With one swing, the Rays had a walk-off win.

"Swagger," said Eteldrum. "That's what this team has right now."
