The Burlington Royals took on the Princeton Rays at Burlington Athletic Stadium.

Burlington left fielder Edwin Gonzalez was instrumental in helping the Royals triumph, 5-3, over the Princeton Rays. Gonzalez was 2-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Burlington reliever Gabriel Ozuna picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Steven Wenger absorbed the loss. Ray Maier earned the save for Burlington, his 6th of the year.

Making an impact for the home team was Ronnie Williams. In the bottom of the sixth, the 22-year old catcher had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 4-2, Royals.

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Gonzalez.

The first-place Royals lifted their record to 33-13.
