Orioles Lose Versus Kingsport, 8-4

Chris Jacobson left his imprint on the 8-4 Kingsport win against the Baltimore (Rk+) Orioles. Jacobson was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs. Bert Reed recorded the save for Kingsport, his 2nd of the season. By defeating Baltimore (Rk+), the 5th-place Mets improved to 20-28.
Kingsport used the clutch hitting of Corey Lanham to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Mets the lead, 5-4. For the game, Lanham had 2 singles and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
