The Danville Braves topped the Baltimore (Rk+) Orioles, 6-4, with first baseman Felix Trent playing a big role. Trent was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles for the Braves in the win. Danville reliever Robert Rangel was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Miguel Cano took the loss for Baltimore (Rk+). Today's win puts Danville at 21-30, while Baltimore (Rk+) falls to 18-33.
Cruz Rubio helped out the Danville cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the shortstop went 1-4 with a double.
"Scoring runs is scoring runs," said Danville skipper Alex Boxwell. "It's important to have different ways to do it."
