Blue Jays Pick Up 3-0 Win Against Danville
|

The win was credited to 21-year old left-handed pitcher Elias Gonzalez in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Victor Serrano took the loss. The Blue Jays now have a record of 21-28 with the win over Danville.
The Blue Jays got a big at-bat from catcher Ricardo Lopez. For the game, Lopez went 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 5th double of the season gave Bluefield a 2-0 lead.
In postgame remarks, Lopez hailed his team's "single-minded determination."
