Angels Topple Yankees with Late Rally
The New York Yankees got a superb performance from pitcher Griff Hill, but the Los Angeles Angels still won the game, 7-1. Hill threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Yes, it was a win for Los Angeles; but their 8-38 mark is nothing to crow about.

Justin Manns provided a timely hit. The Los Angeles left fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Angels on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Manns told the Los Angeles Times. "But we take nothing for granted."
