In a tight contest between the Texas Rangers and the Cleveland Guardians, Aaron Jackson was the determining factor. The Texas right-hander sparkled in his team's 2-1 win. At 24-21, the Rangers claim second place in the American League West Division.

Texas used a well-timed hit by Justin Kerby to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Rangers ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"My gosh almighty, Aaron was tremendous," said Texas manager Stephen Gesualdi.
