Morris drives in 5 runs to Fuel Blaze Offense
The home crowd had a good time watching the Visalia Rawhide and Bakersfield Blaze get after it.

The Bakersfield Blaze stormed past the Visalia Rawhide, 13-6, at Historic Sam Lynn Ballpark. Bakersfield third basemanJack Morris led the hit parade. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 5. The Blaze now have a mark of 66-69.

In a game filled with surprises, perhaps none was as big as Morris's contribution. The Bakersfield third baseman is a relative newcomer. With one out in the bottom of the seventh, when the Blaze had the bases loaded, Morris delivered a crucial 2-run single.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Morris.
