Padilla Dazzles in 3-0 High Desert Win
|
In a well-pitched game between the High Desert Mavericks and the Inland Empire 66ers, pitcher Danny Padilla was fantastic. The High Desert right-hander helped his team secure the win, 3-0. High Desert, at 54-81, holds down 4th place in the South Division.
Padilla, the winning pitcher, raised his record to 7-8. In 8.1 innings of work, Padilla gave up no runs on 2 hits, while racking up 8 Ks. He kept the 66ers punchless, offensively.
"Danny is pitching with a lot of determination and a lot of fire," said High Desert manager Danny Alonso.
