The Bakersfield Blaze picked up a win at Banner Island Ballpark, knocking off the Stockton Ports, 5-2. On the mound for Bakersfield was right-hander Jake Paquin. He played a key role in the triumph. The third-place Blaze lifted their record to 66-70.
