Quakes Best Blaze, 6-2

Rancho Cucamonga center fielder Dan Morrison was instrumental in helping the Quakes triumph, 6-2, over the Bakersfield Blaze. Morrison was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Quakes, at 92-46, sit in first place in the South Division.
Morrison contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Rancho Cucamonga in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 2-0, Morrison took a sinker from Chris McClelland and stroked the home run to right. His 25th home run of the season allowed the Quakes to leap in front, 3-2.
"Winning is seldom easy in this league," said Morrison.
