Niewinski Brings A-Game, Pirates Beat Cubs
The Pittsburgh Pirates racked up a win at PNC Park, bumping off the Chicago Cubs, 1-0. Chris Niewinski, who started for Pittsburgh, pitched effectively for his team. Dana House earned the save for Pittsburgh, his 5th. Pittsburgh is now 18-29.

It was a masterful performance from the popular Niewinski, who notched 8 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 2 hits. Niewinski, the 6th overall pick in the 2091 draft, goes to 4-3 on the year with 49 strikeouts.

"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Niewinski told the Pittsburgh Daily.
