Dodgers Post 7-0 Win Over Houston
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers stymied the Houston Astros, 7-0, at Minute Maid Park. Dan Boyd had a good day at the plate. He was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI for Los Angeles. Los Angeles now has a record of 29-20 with the win.
Boyd contributed in the top of the first. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Los Angeles get the win.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Los Angeles manager Giovanni Ciotti.
