The Pulaski Yankees and Elizabethton Twins left the fans buzzing.

Behind the hitting of Jason Moltz, the Elizabethton Twins stopped the Pulaski Yankees, 4-1. Moltz was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Twins. Willie Rivera, credited with the win in relief, is now 4-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. The save went to Nick Cotter, number 8 for him.

With Elizabethton leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Moltz hit a fastball from Johnny Moore for a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Twins ahead, 3-0.

"Makes our job easier," said Moltz, "when our pitchers shut the opposition down."

The first-place Twins now have a win-loss record of 34-16.
