Bob Saragosa, who is tied for 6th in the APP in wins with 5, was terrific for the Greeneville Astros in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Kingsport Mets. His performance earned Saragosa rave reviews. Saragosa, the winner, moves to 5-1. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 10 and giving up 1 walk. The loss makes Kingsport 15-36.
In the bottom of the third inning of a 1-1 tie, Greeneville third baseman Jose Diaz reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run. It broke the deadlock and put Greeneville on top, 2-1.
"Bob was outstanding," said Greeneville manager Jo Sealy.
