Dodgers Top Brewers, 2-1
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers turned back the Milwaukee Brewers, 2-1, at Dodger Park. John Spohn, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 1-4 with a home run and a walk. Los Angeles reliever David Dzik picked up the win, upping his record to 8-2. Cesar de Lara absorbed the loss. The second-place Dodgers now have a 5-game winning streak.
Los Angeles fans at Dodger Park were rewarded for their support of the Dodgers with a nice win.
"We didn't go down without a fight," said Milwaukee manager Art Matlock.
