Reese Powers Blue Jays to 7-5 Win
No one was more impactful than Joe Reese in the 7-5 Toronto win over Boston. Reese, who finished 3rd in the AL in wins above replacement with 6.5 in 2104, was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. John Ferch locked down his 6th save. The Blue Jays are now 18-34.

With Toronto leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Reese hit a curveball from Cory Tillotson for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Blue Jays ahead, 4-0.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Reese.
