Twins Stick Mets with 7-1 Loss
The Minnesota Twins knocked off the New York Mets, 7-1, in American League action at Target Field. Minnesota pitcher and Beaverton, Oregon, native Joel Kull had an outstanding performance. Minnesota now owns a record of 31-21.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Target Field seemed to enjoy watching the American League action.

"You score one run, you're not going to win," said New York skipper Rodney Smith. "You can have three Koufaxes and three Drysdales, you're still not going to win."
