Blue Jays Tuck Away 5-3 Win Over Chicago
Led by Eric Starnes, the Toronto Blue Jays downed the Chicago White Sox, 5-3. Starnes went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Blue Jays. Jay Courtney closed it out for Toronto, earning his 11th save. The first-place White Sox have lost 4 straight games.

Starnes had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch curveball from Dennis Emmons, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Blue Jays a 5-3 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Starnes.

Toronto manager Dan Silva was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.
