The Colorado Rockies knocked off the Las Vegas Hustle, 4-3, in National League action at Las Vegas Ballpark. Colorado pitcher and Coral Gables, Florida, native Sam Selby had an outstanding performance. Colorado reliever Jonas Bruinink picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Jon Torres was tagged with the loss. Earning his 15th save for Colorado was A.J. O'Farrell.

Colorado used the clutch hitting of Travis Parrish to snag the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rockies ahead, 4-3. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

After the game, Colorado manager Trevor Taka applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.

By defeating Las Vegas, the third-place Rockies improved to 33-22.
