San Francisco turned a good effort from starter Ben Bower into a win over the Los Angeles Dodgers at AT&T Park. The final score was 6-0. The third-place Dodgers dropped to 27-28.
Bower was in the zone all game. He frustrated Los Angeles hitters while giving the Giants 6.1 innings of quality work. Bower threw 93 pitches, allowing 1 hit and getting 4 punchouts.
