12 Straight Wins for Royals
|
The streak continues for Burlington.
San Francisco (Rk+) first baseman Alejandro Reyes was sensational. He was 2-4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Burlington beat the Giants, 9-4. The first-place Royals have a record of 42-15.
Mike Naylor, the 26-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Naylor contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the tenth inning to put Burlington up, 5-4.
"Our guys refused to lose," said Naylor.
