Princeton turned a good effort from starter Manny Gonzalez into a win over the Greeneville Astros at Pioneer Park. The Rays won the game, 3-2. Princeton reliever Gabe Gibson picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Brett Babe was tagged with the loss. George Hoffman finished the game for Princeton and earned his 3rd save.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Jose Hilberto? The 21-year old shortstop Hilberto stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Princeton up, 2-1. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

After the game, Princeton manager Rusty Brady applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.

The Rays, at 37-19, sit in first place in the East.
