Blue Jays Stick Giants with 8-1 Loss
|
The Bluefield Blue Jays topped the San Francisco (Rk+) Giants, 8-1, in Appalachian League action at Bowen Field. The standout performance belonged to Bluefield pitcher and Fontana, California, native Victor Gilbert. Gilbert, the winner, moves to 1-1.
