The Burlington Royals defeated the San Francisco (Rk+) Giants, 5-2, in part because of catcher Luis Aguilar. Aguilar went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Royals. Noah Jones earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 5 hits in 4.1 innings. He upped his record to 2-0. Garrett Youngblood was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 2 save opportunities.

Burlington used a well-timed hit by Danny Esquivel to capture the win. The first baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Royals ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
