Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at Devault Memorial Stadium.

Pulaski turned a good effort from starting pitcher Marco Nieves into a win over the Bristol Pirates at Devault Memorial Stadium. The final score was 4-2 in 10 innings. Pulaski reliever Luis Accardi was the winner. His record is now 3-3. The losing pitcher was Andrew Kasper. Richard Silverstone closed out the game, earning his 2nd save.

Pulaski needed the clutch hitting of Alex Maldonado to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Yankees on top, 4-2. For the game, Maldonado had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Marco looked like he had more finish on his ball," said Pulaski manager Erik Bowman.

The last-place Yankees sport a record of 13-51.
