The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Washington Nationals by the score of 9-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Mike Grimm. Grimm was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. Alex Santiago had a big 2-run home run for the Rays in the bottom of the second inning.
