Fans saw a dandy of a game between the San Francisco (Rk+) Giants and Elizabethton Twins.

Both offenses were feeble at Joe O'Brien Field. Fortunately for the San Francisco (Rk+) Giants, though, Roland Meyer delivered in the clutch. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles, to help his team topple the Elizabethton Twins, 1-0. The first-place Giants have a one-game lead in their division.

In the top of the second, with the game still scoreless, Meyer hit a run-scoring single to put his team in the lead.

San Francisco (Rk+) manager Chris Aversa called it "a good, solid win."
