Justin Ruben had a good game, but he could not keep the Bluefield Blue Jays from falling, 4-3, to the Pulaski Yankees at Calfee Park. The Bluefield catcher went 1-1 with a home run, 3 walks, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 in the loss. Pulaski reliever Jim Unknown picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Justin Kibler absorbed the loss. The last-place Yankees own a record of 17-61.
