The Princeton Rays were defeated, 3-2, by the Bristol Pirates at Devault Memorial Stadium, even though Jay Paglia pitched well for Princeton. The Pirates now own a record of 27-50.

The Pirates got a big at-bat from left fielder Kevin Kinkade. For the game, Kinkade was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Bristol a 3-1 lead.

"Credit where credit is due," said Kinkade, "this was a team win."
