Late Rally by Astros Seals 5th Straight Win

The Houston Astros topped the Philadelphia Phillies, 2-1, in American League action at Minute Maid Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Houston pitcher Kihachi Okuhara. The winner was Houston reliever Humberto Valenzuela, now 1-5. The loser was Kyle O'Brien. Houston is now 31-28.
Matt Jones was the walk-off hero for Houston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Astros catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"My gosh almighty, Kihachi was tremendous," said Houston manager Zeb Currier.
