Brewers Beat Nationals, 6-4

The Milwaukee Brewers topped the Washington Nationals, 6-4, in National League action at Miller Park. The standout performance belonged to Milwaukee pitcher and Anacortes, Washington, native Jim Rainey. Rainey picked up the win for Milwaukee, going 5.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 4-7. Milwaukee now sports a record of 28-31.
Early in the game, second baseman Fred Martin had a bases-clearing double for Milwaukee. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Brewers on top, 3-0.
