Cubs Lose, 5-4, as Twins Rally
The Minnesota Twins dealt the Chicago Cubs a 5-4 loss at Target Field. Jesse Fales, who is tied for 9th in the AL in hits with 68, was 3-4 with a triple, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Mark Campbell earned the save, his 14th. The Twins win now puts them at 30-28.

Fales had a timely hit for Minnesota in the bottom of the eighth. With Minnesota trailing 4-3, he turned a 1-2 fastball into a 2-run double. It was his 20th double of the season, making it 5-4, Minnesota.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Fales said in reaction to the win.
