The Atlanta Braves topped the Las Vegas Hustle, 5-2, in National League action at Coca-Cola Field. The standout performance belonged to Atlanta pitcher and Castle, Guernsey, native Tim Hall. Hall yielded no runs over 5 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 1, and struck out 8. His record improves to 2-3. Earning his 8th save of the year was Ryan Washington.

The Braves got an important contribution from first baseman Francisco Galdamez, who in the bottom of the second hit a splitter to right-center for a 2-run double. It was his 13th double of the season and put the Braves ahead, 3-0.

"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Las Vegas skipper Larry Robinson.

With the win, the Braves improved to 26-35.
