Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Cleveland Guardians and Las Vegas Hustle.

The Cleveland Guardians topped the Las Vegas Hustle, 5-4, in American League action at Progressive Field. The standout performance belonged to Cleveland pitcher and San Juan, Puerto Rico, native Manny Rodriguez. Manny Castro, now 1-3, was credited with the win in 0.1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 1 and walking 0.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Cleveland. That's when Brian Salvatierra hit a 2-run double off 32-year old right-handed pitcher Ryan McLellan to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

After the game, Cleveland manager Mike Nichols applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.

The Guardians raised their record to 23-37.
