Mets Topple Brewers with Late Rally
|
New York Mets starter Luis Manzano was dealing. He helped his team knock off the Milwaukee Brewers, 2-1. New York is now 23-41, Milwaukee 33-32.
Marty Krpan was the walk-off hero for New York. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mets left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"This place was rockin'," said Manzano.
