Streaking Blue Jays Win Another One, 6-2
Texas got a decent performance from pitcher Darius Shaheed, but it wasn't enough to beat the Toronto Blue Jays. Toronto won the Globe Life Park in Arlington contest, 6-2. Shaheed threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Alex Bartolo, who is tied for 7th in the AL in innings pitched with 84.1, was the winner. He's now 7-1. The loser was Darius Shaheed. The losses continue to add up for Texas, having now dropped 8 straight.

Toronto took the lead, 4-2, on Nick Maruschak's 9th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Texas pitcher Darius Shaheed in the top of the seventh.

"This game is going to humble you at times and you've got to man up and deal with it," said Texas manager Stephen Gesualdi.
