Cubs Deal Nationals 6-0 Defeat
|
Tommy Ash impressed in the 6-0 Chicago win over Washington. Ash, who is on pace for 92 RBI this season, went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The third-place Cubs hiked their record to 37-28.
In the first inning, Ash had a 3-run home run for Chicago. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Cubs on top, 3-0.
