The Montgomery Biscuits were good enough to get past the Biloxi Shuckers at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium today and secure the 4th championship in franchise history.

"When you wear Biscuits on your shirt, you're good at something," Montgomery skipper Jalen Ford told the press.

Biscuits center fielder Melvin Casasola was named MVP of the series after he went .421 with 4 home runs and 9 runs batted in.

"It feels totally incredible," Casasola said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment."

The new champions capped off a great season with a 5-3 victory over the Shuckers to win the Round 2 4-1.
