One game in and the Round 2 is already looking exhausting.

The Helena Brewers and the Ogden Raptors needed 10 innings to settle Game 1, with the Brewers finally taking the 5-3 victory at Lindquist Field. Excelling in the win was Helena starting pitcher Chris Fox, who threw 5.0 innings of shutout ball. The Brewers and Raptors are playing a best-of-7 series.

Helena used the timely hitting of Luis Chavez to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Brewers on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Chavez.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Lindquist Field in Ogden.
