Hoskins, Captains Wallop Chiefs in Game 6 of R2
The Lake County Captains and the Peoria Chiefs will take the Round 2 to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Captains beat the Chiefs, 6-1, at Classic Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Lake County right fielder Eric Hoskins hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice.

Hoskins came through for the Captains in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Lake County leading 2-1, the right fielder hit a 2-run home run. It made the score 4-1, Lake County.

Hoskins called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Classic Park in Eastlake.
