Bakersfield Breaks Through for First Win in Round 1; Now Trails 2-1
The Bakersfield Blaze defeated the Visalia Rawhide, 12-3, in Game 3 of the Round 1. Making an impact was right fielder Brad Coughlin, who went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The win narrows Bakersfield's deficit in the series to 2-1.

Carlos Lujan was a prime contributor to the Bakersfield win. He was 2-5 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. In the bottom of the second with two out, the 25-year old center fielder hit a 2-run double. It made the score 4-0, in favor of the Blaze.

Visalia manager Steve Deemer said: "We'll rinse this one off and get ready for the next game."
