Nationals Clip Owlz, 3-2, in R1 Contest
The Washington (Rk+) Nationals got a strong game from starter Luis Munoz, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Nationals took the 3-2 win over the Orem Owlz in Game 2 of the Round 1 in a 9th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the left-handed Munoz. Munoz threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball in the win, which brought the Nationals into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

Nolan Neace was the walk-off hero for Washington (Rk+). With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Nationals shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Munoz said in his postgame press conference.

The next game is set to be played for Sunday, September 14th , 2110 at Brent Brown Ballpark in Orem.
