Sakai Blasts Reds, Rockies Take Game 3, 11-4
The Colorado Rockies moved to within one game of the Championship Series today, downing the visiting Cincinnati Reds at Colorado Field by a score of 11-4. Rockies catcher Kosuke Sakai did some major damage. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The win gives the Rockies a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Division Series.

Glenn Sewell, the Colorado left fielder, contributed a 2-run double in the bottom of the second inning to make the score 3-0, Rockies. For the game, Sewell went 2 for 5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Sakai told the Colorado Today.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Colorado Field in Denver.
