Blue Jays Get Thrilling 10-9 Win
The Toronto Blue Jays cut down the Texas Rangers by the score of 10-9 in 12 innings. Much of the credit went to designated hitter Vic Rivera. Rivera was 5 for 6 with 2 home runs, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Blue Jays. The Blue Jays saw their record improve to 37-28.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Joe Reese came to bat in the top of the 12th. Facing Texas pitcher Josh Payne, he hit a 2-2 curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Toronto on top, 10-9.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Rodney Smith, the Toronto skipper.
