Division Series Game 1 Goes to Minnesota, Thanks to Duren
The Minnesota Twins started the Division Series in style, downing the visiting Boston Red Sox at Target Field by a score of 8-2 to grab an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Twins designated hitter Jason Duren went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4.

The Twins picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"It was a tough day, no getting around it," said losing manager Michael Meagher.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Target Field in Minneapolis.
