Thompson Blasts Twins, Blue Jays Take Game 2, 6-5
When the games really matter, the Toronto Blue Jays put on their best show, beating the Minnesota Twins by a final score of 6-5. Jonathan Thompson went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. The series now sits at 1-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 19th. With one out, Thompson hit a cutter from Luis Luciano for a solo home run. The Blue Jays, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Thompson.
