Rodriquez Blasts Blue Jays, Astros Take Game 3, 10-6
The Houston Astros have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Toronto Blue Jays, winning, 10-6, at Minute Maid Park. Astros third baseman Julian Rodriquez went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. The win cuts the deficit facing the Astros to 2-1 in the best-of-5 Division Series.

Hideyuki Takahashi, who finished 4th in the AL in home runs with 42 in 2108, chipped in a 3-run home run for Houston in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.

"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Takahashi told the Houston Gazette.
