The Arizona Diamondbacks started the Division Series in style, winning on the road against the Colorado Rockies at Colorado Field by a score of 8-5 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Diamondbacks designated hitter Josh Robinson excelled. He went 2 for 2 with a home run, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch.

Nate Humphery helped out the Arizona cause in the top of the seventh inning with a 2-run home run. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"Things broke our way today and that's great," Diamondbacks manager Terrell Bailey said. "It's important, though, to stay focused and not pat yourself on the back too much. We aren't done yet."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Colorado Field in Denver.
