Las Vegas Wins at Home to Narrow Series Deficit to 3-2
|
Brad Jorgensen was not about to watch an opponent celebrate a championship on his home field.
The right-hander pitched the Las Vegas Hustle to victory at Las Vegas Ballpark, staving off the Toronto Blue Jays, who remain one game away from a title. Jorgensen threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. The win cuts the series deficit for the Hustle to 3-2 in the best-of-7 series.
Las Vegas starter Brad Jorgensen was a master of his craft. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings.
"Even if things get a little hairy, Brad trusts his ability," said Las Vegas manager Larry Robinson.
The next game is set to be played for Wednesday, November 7th , 2108 at Rogers Centre in Toronto.
