Hustle Win, Move to Within 1 Game of World Series
The Las Vegas Hustle are one game away from a sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers after a road win at Dodger Park, 3-1. Hustle left-hander Greg Earle had a strong outing. He threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball. Las Vegas now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Championship Series.

Las Vegas won the game in part because of Danny Valdez. The center fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Hustle ahead, 3-1. For the game, Valdez had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"We haven't stopped playing," Los Angeles manager Giovanni Ciotti said. "We didn't get this far to give up."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Dodger Park in Los Angeles.
